Just as the people of Ugarit created the first written alphabet, we are today seeking to discover a new alphabet that has not yet been invented the alphabet of collective decision-making.
We want to turn people's dialogues and suggestions into actions, just as the people of Ugarit turned their voices into letters, and their letters into a language that immortalized knowledge and history. In the Ugarit square (Agora), the free people gathered and discovered the secret hidden in their words and thus an alphabet was born capable of practically transmitting knowledge across time and space, connecting mind to mind.
Today, we meet here to explore how we can turn voluntary free dialogue into smart collective decisions, without coercion, and without leaving voices without impact. We aim to create a new approach to collective governance that turns people's words into a path towards action and their opinions into tools to shape their future.
